Päivi Kettunen (FSC) is an award-winning cinematographer and a two-time European Film Award nominee. She is known for her work on Ladies of Steel, My Husband's Wife, and Aikuiset. Her portfolio includes feature films, documentaries, and television projects. Based in Helsinki, she works internationally. Päivi is a member of the Finnish Society of Cinematographers (FSC).

I am drawn to paradoxes – things that are both true and contradictory at the same time. They make me look deeper, to question, and to see differently. The camera is a powerful tool; what is shown, how and why. My images are often said to convey both sensitivity and coldness side by side – perhaps that’s true. I am fascinated by stories that don’t fully explain themselves, but transport audiences to different worlds.
