Päivi Kettunen is a Finnish cinematographer whose award-winning projects have attracted audiences in both television and the cinema (My Husband's Wife, Aikuiset, Ladies of Steel). She recently completed a crime series and a drama thriller series. Kettunen’s cinematography combines beauty with skilled storytelling. 

Kettunen has shot five feature films, ten television series, and numerous documentaries and short films. Her films have been nominated twice for the European Film Award (Ladies of Steel for Best Comedy, The Little Snow Animal for Best Short), and have been showcased at several film festivals, including Cannes Film Festival’s Cinéfondation (To Return Until). Her TV series have been nominated twice for the Venla Awards, Finland’s equivalent of the Emmys (My Husband's Wife for Best Drama, Aikuiset for Best Comedy). She has won a Special Achievement Award in Cinematography in a Documentary Feature at Red Rock Film Festival USA (The Other Side of Mars). 

Kettunen is a member of the Finnish Society of Cinematographers (FSC) and graduated from Aalto University School of Arts, Film and Television, where she also teaches cinematography. Kettunen has worked around the world, from Zambia to Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California, and from Moroccan wasteland to Tokio.
